As an exhibitor for the Healthcare Excellence Through Technology (HETT) conference in September 2022, we caught up with Keystream ahead of the show.

HETT: Thank you for taking the time to speak with us. Tell us a bit about how your organisation currently supports the health and care sector.

Keystream: Digital innovation, transformation, and excellence is driven by people. Keystream supports the health and care sectors by providing skilled people with the expertise to make it happen, through recruitment or outsourcing to our analytics and consulting teams.

Our recruitment arm has been working with the healthcare sector for over 10 years placing non-clinical professionals into crucial technology roles from junior level to leadership positions. Our talent network spans PMO, analytics and digital infrastructure, many have specialist skills and experience working with niche clinical systems. Within life sciences, we work across technology, commercial and corporate functions, from start-ups to well-established major players.

For Keystream Analytics, it’s all about data. Working with the health and care sectors, they help to make sense of large amounts of data, turning it into meaningful, actionable insight that helps inform decision-making. A complete outsourced data function, the team can devise and deliver a complete data solution, from strategy through storage, management, reporting, and security, provide advice or step in to manage part of the process.

Finally, Keystream Consulting delivers end-to-end technology programmes. Led by one of our programme or project managers, the team works to understand your issue, goal or vision and makes it happen. Working through initial scope and programme set up, assembling a skilled team, change management, design, development, testing and training, they perfect the solution before handing over. We’re working with NHS Trusts to deliver EPR implementations, system upgrades, and RBAC solutions – all helping clinicians to maximise patient safety.

HETT: What are some of the biggest challenges that you have identified when working closely with your NHS/Care partners?

Keystream: Timescales are a factor for our recruitment teams as tight deadlines are often in place, particularly with NHS hiring. Capped budgets within the NHS can also be a challenge in today’s recruitment market. In the life sciences sector, since the covid pandemic businesses are facing a shortage of skills in many areas. As a result, businesses have had to work harder to attract people, often having to increase salaries in line with rising candidate expectations.
Having a large, proven network of experienced professionals is a big factor in being able to tackle these challenges.

HETT: Tell us how working with your products and solutions can help tackle some of the challenges that exist within digital health.

Keystream: The health and care sectors are striving to improve services and patient outcomes. But measuring performance is sometimes difficult. Many systems output data, but analysing data that comes in different formats from different systems with different parameters is not easy.
Our Analytics teams help the sector understand how it's performing by enabling leaders to visualise and analyse key information. We take the data and manipulate it, using cutting-edge technology to provide real-time dashboards that are completely customisable and, importantly, easy for clinical staff to understand.

Once challenges can be understood and measured, it’s easier for teams to put in place solutions to tackle them.

HETT: As HETT Show approaches (27-28 Sept @ExCeL London), tell us what you are looking forward to the most at HETT Show 2022.

Keystream: The recruitment teams are hoping to meet senior stakeholders who may have challenging workforce issues that we can help with. That may be building out a new commercial division for a growing MedTech provider or staffing an infrastructure upgrade for an NHS Trust.
Keystream Analytics are keen to talk to digital teams struggling with data issues or seeking to improve the level of insight they can extract from their data. At the Keystream stand, they will be showcasing some of the dashboards they’ve created, helping clients such as Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals, Community Dental Services, and London North West Hospital.

Keystream Consulting would like to connect with CTOs and CIOs thinking about setting up a new programme. We can talk about the aims and objectives of the programme and the best way of setting it up to deliver the desired outcomes with a focus on efficiency. With any programme, engaging with people is key. We can talk through case studies of how we’ve successfully implemented change management within healthcare settings.

HETT: As HETT Show approaches (27-28 Sept @ExCeL London), tell us what you are looking forward to the most at HETT Show 2022.

Keystream: Learning, networking, and hosting the stand! The agenda is packed with inspirational speakers and it’s good to talk with other exhibitors about their products and solutions.
HETT is always a great opportunity to talk to industry and digital leaders, to find out more about the latest innovations and technologies, to learn what trends will be key for the sector in the coming months.

We are looking forward to making new connections in what we’re sure will be a very productive, inspiring couple of days.

HETT:
