Each year, HETT brings together the health tech community, giving digital leaders, NHS professionals, and policy makers an opportunity to connect, explore new solutions, and drive progress across health and social care services.

This year’s show centred on the delivery of the government’s 10-Year Health Plan – a strategy focused on prevention, community-based care, and digitising services to create a more sustainable healthcare system.

As a long-standing partner and adviser to the entire NHS, Dell Technologies plays an active role in enabling this vision, providing secure infrastructure, cloud platforms, and clinical mobility solutions through its trusted network of collaborators.

Why HETT and Dell Delivered the Healthcare Village Together

HETT and Dell Technologies worked closely together to bring the Healthcare Village to life because both organisations share a commitment to accelerating digital progress across health and social care. HETT has long been the place where leaders come to explore what is possible, and Dell wanted to use the event as a platform to demonstrate what an integrated, collaborative ecosystem can achieve when it is fully aligned to national priorities. By launching the Healthcare Village at HETT, Dell created a real-world model that shows how partners can come together in one connected space to support NHS organisations in solving challenges with joined-up thinking, validated infrastructure, and practical examples of transformation.

The success showed that when expertise is concentrated, conversations become more meaningful, partnerships evolve faster, and organisations across the system can more easily see how different suppliers contribute to shared goals. HETT provided the ideal environment for this kind of momentum, allowing Dell and its partners to demonstrate not just technology but the relationships, trust and coordinated delivery that underpin long-term improvement.

At HETT 2025, Dell reinforced its integrated, outcome-centric approach to service delivery through the launch of the Dell Healthcare Village. The space showcased the company’s end-to-end ecosystem of specialist partners, all working together to support the ambitions of the 10-Year Plan.

Partnering to Deliver the 10-Year Plan

Dell has a large, dedicated NHS team and a strong standing within the healthcare market. When asked about the motivations behind the Healthcare Village, the team explained that it was about creating a presence at HETT that reflects the role Dell already plays within the sector.

According to Scott Andrew, Healthcare Industry Director at Dell Technologies, many still perceive Dell as simply a device provider. “Yes, we do sell laptops. But we also provide end-to-end services that support the NHS in its transformation. We wanted to highlight that.”

Scott and the team also wanted to emphasise the scale of Dell’s partner network.

Dell is often seen in the market as a company that wants to sell directly to customers. And I think there's a lot of great partner organisations out there that perhaps, in the past, have steered away from working with us and towards our competition… We really want to change that.”

Harry Croft, Account Executive, Dell Technologies

The company has spent the past few years focusing on this, and the Healthcare Village was created to showcase Dell’s partners and demonstrate the value they derive from working together.

“We have our core competencies, but there are limits to what we can offer. That’s why working with other companies is so important… It helps us provide more rounded, outcome-focused solutions for our customers.”

Harry Croft, Account Executive, Dell Technologies

This message was echoed throughout the wider event: for the 10-Year Plan to succeed, technology must be supported by collaboration, interoperability, and a shared purpose.

The Healthcare Village embodied this philosophy. Each partner selected for delivering a solution aligned to a specific element of the plan. Together, they represented a unified network supporting its delivery.

Whether it’s supporting cloud services or improving patient outcomes, everything we do comes through our partner ecosystem. Any technology solution needs the right infrastructure, and we validate our architecture with partners to make sure it’s secure and aligned with NHS standards – especially given the cyber risks the NHS faces.”

Proact – a leading technology provider that delivers best practice PACS hosting – was one of the ten partners presenting within the village. Proact created the first cost-controlled, AI-enabled PACS platform, removing the need to rely on public cloud hosting and creating a stable environment for AI research and model development without unpredictable costs.

This innovation was developed in collaboration with AGFA HealthCare – another member of Dell’s community of partners exhibiting at HETT 2025 – whose Enterprise Imaging platform supports a connected, patient-first approach by making imaging accessible across care teams and locations.

Together, Proact and AGFA HealthCare highlighted the value of being part of a cohesive technology network, where shared expertise and interoperable solutions accelerate progress and strengthen delivery across healthcare.

“The value of working with Dell comes down to the ecosystem that they have developed over the past few years… We have built an ecosystem with Dell and our partners to engage in the market in a different way – one that is very much focused on delivering outcomes to the NHS, as opposed to selling technology solutions.”

Matt Jeavons, Head of Transformation Consultancy, Proact IT

Phillipa Winter, Chief Technologist at CDW UK, reinforced this point, explaining that, within the Dell ecosystem, they can deliver something far more transformational for the NHS.

For me as a clinician, it’s really important that we work with the right vendors, so Dell is that conduit, and I think being part of that today is really special… Why would we not want to be part of that?”

Phillipa Winter, Chief Technologist, CDW UK

CDW is a leading partner in the deployment of devices and mobility across the NHS. At this year’s Healthcare Village, they showcased how Stockport and other NHS Trusts are using fully managed mobility solutions to improve time to care and streamline access to services. Visitors could visualise how CDW’s solutions – alongside those from the other partner pods – contribute to the objectives of the NHS 10-Year Plan.

When asked how Newton’s Tree is helping tackle key challenges in the plan, Ewan Cranwell, Founder’s Associate at Newton’s Tree, said they aim to be “the trustworthy partner that anyone within the healthcare system can look to for advice and guidance.”

Newton’s Tree provides a comprehensive platform that allows NHS Trusts to seamlessly integrate multiple AI tools into clinical workflows. As well as deployment, it supports regulatory compliance and continuous performance monitoring, helping lower adoption barriers and accelerate responsible use of AI across healthcare settings.

Ewan noted the overwhelmingly positive response they received from visitors and thanked Dell for creating a space where they could strengthen their relationships and connections with customers.

I think the best thing about the conference for us has been catching up with people we already have existing relationships with. It's really great to get a lot of people together in the same space… Especially in this day and age, where everyone works remotely.”

From Dell’s perspective, having everyone in the same spot, having the same conversations, brought a huge amount of value.

“Some of the outcomes of our customers and our partners are witnessing at this rather extravagant venue are exceptional.”

Gary McAllister, CTO – Healthcare & Public Sector, Dell Technologies

Key Voices at HETT 2025

This theme of shared purpose was strengthened by the wider programme at HETT 2025, which featured respected national leaders including Sonia Patel, Ming Tang and Zubir Ahmed. Their contributions highlighted the importance of practical, secure digital foundations, better use of data, and clinically grounded approaches to transformation. Their insights aligned closely with the objectives of the Healthcare Village, reinforcing how coordinated partnerships and trusted technology can support national ambitions.

Scott Andrew – the driving force behind this year’s Healthcare Village – emphasised that the event was not simply about bringing partners together for a day,but about setting the tone for ongoing collaboration. The aim now is to continue these conversations and explore how the ecosystem can work together to deliver end-to-end services and support the NHS in achieving its long-term ambitions.
