X-on is an award-winning pioneer of digital telephony in the UK, delivering simple but powerful communications choices to the NHS and healthcare.

As an exhibitor for the Healthcare Excellence Through Technology (HETT) conference in September, we caught up with Surgery Connect ahead of the show.

HETT: Thank you for taking the time to speak with us. Tell us a bit about how your organisation currently supports the health and care sector.

Surgery Connect: X-on provides Digital Cloud Telephony and Communications services with a focus on the Primary Care sector, now extending out into PCNs and the wider ICS.

HETT: What are some of the biggest challenges that you have identified when working closely with your NHS/Care partners?

Surgery Connect: The challenges are meeting demand across a large number of practices with differing levels of demand for patient access and different approaches to providing support via the phone, and through digital channels. These demonstrate the need for some form of standardisation as General Practice attempts to achieve the economies of scale by sharing resources.

HETT: Tell us how working with your products and solutions can help tackle some of the challenges that exist within digital health.

Surgery Connect: X-on’s Surgery Connect cloud solution bridges the gap between traditional telephony and integrated digital solutions to provide a unified level of access across all patient cohorts. It addresses digital exclusion and allows stakeholders to design and implement call flows and triage strategies that improve the patient experience and measure improvement on a local and regional basis.

HETT: As HETT Show approaches (27-28 Sept @ExCeL London), tell us what you are looking forward to the most at HETT Show 2022.

Surgery Connect: We are hoping to have discussions with PCN, ICS, and NHS Digital Leaders who have a vision for standardising and improving patient access within Primary Care and beyond.

HETT: As HETT Show approaches (27-28 Sept @ExCeL London), tell us what you are looking forward to the most at HETT Show 2022.

Surgery Connect: Meeting existing and new customers to understand more about the current pressures and demands so we can work together and improve our solutions.

HETT:
Thank you for your time today. It’s been a pleasure catching up with you and learning more about how Surgery Connect contributes to the evolution of the healthcare sector. We look forward to seeing you at HETT Show (27th & 28th September, ExCeL London)!
