Entries are now open for the
HETT Unexpected Innovation Awards
Entry deadline extended to Friday 29th July 2022!
Following the launch of the inaugural awards ceremony at the HETT Show in 2021, the HETT Unexpected Innovators Awards returns this November as a standalone event, celebrating the cutting edge of digital and health tech innovation.
Entries are now open for those who have demonstrated the very best in experimental design, collaboration, and leadership in digital healthcare.
About the awards
Launched by the team behind HETT Show (Healthcare Excellence Through Technology), the awards are designed to bring together the wider digital health and care ecosystem to celebrate projects that demonstrate true innovation and forward-thinking.
The HETT Unexpected Innovation Awards will consist of 14 categories this year, showcasing champions of digital health innovation and highlighting stories of transformation across the past year.

- Digital Team of the Year
- Unexpected Innovator of the Year
- Best Primary Care Digital Project
- ‘That will never work' - Most Creative and Disruptive Solution
- Integrated Care Collaboration
- Best User-Centered Design Approach
- Digital Service for Children and Young People
- Data Innovation Award - RPA/AI/Data
- Best Digital Innovation in Mental Health
- Best Designed Virtual Service
- Trojan Mouse (Steady and Incremental Approach to Transformation)
- Digital Workforce Improvement
- Industry Collaborator - Supplier category
- Most Innovative Solution for a Healthcare Wicked Problem - Supplier category
The deadline for submissions is Friday 29th July 2022, with finalists being announced on Friday 26th August and winners announced at the awards ceremony on Wednesday 23rd November at the Tower Hotel, London. All entries will be reviewed by the HETT judging panel.
