This year, we’re bringing a brand new format to the north. The HETT Leaders’ Summit is set to take place on 12th February 2026 at the Royal Armouries in Leeds. It’s a focused, full day event created for digital health and care leaders from across the country who want to explore the challenges, opportunities and practical realities of digital transformation in more depth.
The summit offers space for strategic discussion, collaboration and meaningful networking. It’s designed to support deeper conversations and stronger connections in a setting built for learning, and sits alongside the main HETT Show in London, offering something distinct for those driving change across local and regional systems.
Attendees can expect thought provoking sessions led by NHS and sector experts, interactive discussions that encourage open and practical insight sharing, and plenty of opportunities to connect throughout the day. A complimentary lunch and closing drinks reception creates even more space for informal conversations. Leeds is a fitting home for this new event, known for its vibrant digital community, excellent transport links and welcoming city centre.

The Themes Shaping This Year’s Programme
The agenda is built around four core themes that reflect pressures, priorities and ambitions shaping digital transformation across the system in line with the 10 Year Plan.
AI and Emerging Technologies: Transforming Healthcare Delivery
Sessions such as AI in Healthcare: Real Returns, Real Risks and the Road to Scalable Value and AI Workflows in Focus: The Key to Adopting AI Seamlessly explore where new technologies are helping teams deliver care more effectively. Speakers will look at the opportunities, the limitations and the practical steps leaders can take to introduce these tools safely. Case studies from NHS teams will show what implementation looks like on the ground.
Leadership and Culture: Driving Sustainable Digital Transformation
Sustainable transformation depends on leadership behaviours, organisational culture and the confidence to challenge long-standing ways of working. Sessions including Productivity or People? NHS Transformation in a Constrained System and Digital Transformation or Digital Fantasy? What’s Really Happening on the Ground will explore what helps or hinders progress and how leaders can support teams through ongoing change.
Digital and Data Infrastructure: Building the Future of Healthcare Systems
Secure, reliable and connected infrastructure sits behind every digital strategy. This theme will look at interoperability, cloud systems, cybersecurity and data governance. Sessions such as Closing the NHS Infrastructure Gap: Risks and Costs of Inaction and insights from leaders working on EPR transformation will highlight where investment and collaboration are most needed.
Integrated Care and Prevention: Empowering Better Health Through Collaboration
Integrated Care continues to shape how services plan and deliver more coordinated, preventive support. Sessions such as Neighbourhood Health in Action: Early Outcomes, Lessons Learned and the Path to a Preventive System and What Lessons Can We Learn from Each Other on Population Health, Health Inequalities and Prevention Strategies will share practical examples that show how collaboration improves outcomes and supports earlier intervention.
Additional programme highlights, including Looking Beyond Procurement: Creating Strategic NHS Supplier-Buyer Collaboration for System-Wide Partnerships and Global Lessons, National Leadership: What the World Gets Right and What the NHS Must Do Next, will bring broader insight into partnership-building and long-term strategy.
