Following the resounding success of HETT North 2023, we are thrilled to announce the triumphant return of this leading healthcare event to Manchester on the 28th of February for its highly anticipated second instalment. This year, HETT North experienced exponential growth, doubling in size and undergoing a transformative shift from its original conference-style format to a comprehensive exhibition floor.
The reimagined format not only signifies the event's evolution but also introduces exciting new features, including additional theatres such as the Integrated Care Forum. This dedicated space is designed to delve into the future of Integrated Care Systems, adding an excited and much welcomed dimension to the HETT North experience
In addition, the debut of the Digital Primary and Social Care streams marked significant milestones, offering dedicated platforms to support and explore the digital evolution within primary and social care sectors. These new streams featured the likes of NHS England’s Chief Social Worker, Mark Nicholas and Chris Nortcliff, Digital Lead – Greater Manchester Primary Care Provider Board.
Another new feature at this year’s event was the Innovation Trail, designed to showcase the latest organisations at the cutting edge of digital health. Delegates were invited to make their way across the show floor to marked stands to discover the latest HealthTech innovations.

The day commenced with an inspiring keynote address from the esteemed Lord Mayor of Manchester, Councillor Yasmine Dar, emphasising Manchester's pivotal role in the digital health ecosystem.
“One of the best if not the best conference I have been to! Truly inspirational and thought provoking! Will be back next year at both HETT and HETT North.” - Prempal Birdi, Head of IT & Digital, Royal College of Surgeons of England
‘Keynote Panel – Reflections on Integrated Care Systems: How do we Deliver on the Promises of Integrated Care?’ was another popular session, chaired by Shanil Mantri, CCIO and Clinical Safety Officer, NHS Bath & Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire ICB. The session reflected on the success and challenges of Integrated Care Systems so far, whilst looking at what the future could bring.
The event concluded with a captivating fireside chat featuring Mark Nicholas, Chief Social Worker, NHS England, and Minal Bakhai, Director of Primary Care Transformation, NHS England. The discussion offered fresh insights into the progress of Primary and Social Care transformation, along with invaluable advice for commercial partners seeking to support this transformation.
