At a time when digital transformation in health and care is moving faster than ever, some of the most important progress doesn’t always happen on main stages or in headline keynotes, but can happen in quieter, more focused spaces. That’s why we’re excited to introduce something new for HETT Show 2025: the Roundtable Area, a dedicated environment designed for private, collaborative discussion on the sector’s most pressing challenges.
Taking place on both days of the show (7–8th October) the Roundtable Area offers a unique format: confidential, Chatham House-style conversations where delegates can speak freely, share lived experiences and explore practical solutions without the pressure of a public audience.
A Space for Safe, Honest Dialogue
The Roundtable Area offers small-group, participant-led conversations that get beneath the surface.
These aren’t presentations or panels; they’re discussions where practical solutions, tensions, and next steps can all be explored in real time. It’s a space designed for focus, reflection, and real-world relevance, especially when the topics are complex or politically sensitive.
Highlights from the Roundtable Programme
The 2025 agenda features a mix of open and invite-only sessions, covering timely and often underrepresented topics. Here's a first look at what’s in store:
Leading with Compassion: Supporting Women's Health in the Workplace through Digital Innovation
7th October, 10:30–11:30
Led by Tulsi Patel (Hertility), this roundtable explores how menstrual and menopausal health affects workplace wellbeing and performance and how compassionate leadership, backed by digital health tools, can create inclusive, supportive environments. From stigma reduction to policy integration, expect real-world insights and practical actions.
The Future of Medicines Optimisation: Driving Innovation, Equity and Better Use with The Global Policy Network
7th October, 12:50–13:50 – Invite Only
Chaired by Reena Patel, this session brings together pharmacy and digital leaders to explore how AI, robotics, and integrated care models are shaping the future of medicines optimisation. It’s a space for collaboration between innovators, clinicians, and policymakers, with a focus on safety, scalability, and equity.
AI in Healthcare: How Do We Make It Safer for Patients?
7th October, 14:10–15:10
As AI becomes embedded in healthcare workflows, patient safety must remain at the forefront. Led by Clive Flashman, Chief Digital Officer at Patient Safety Learning, this roundtable brings together leading voices from medicine, technology, policy, and patient advocacy to explore one of the most urgent questions in healthcare innovation: how do we ensure AI enhances, rather than endangers, patient safety?
Shaping the Future, Behind Closed Doors
Some sessions in the Roundtable Area will be invite-only, reserved for specific stakeholder groups where confidentiality and alignment are key, such as the Shuri Network session (more info TBA) and focused roundtables on primary care, innovation and collaboration, and AI strategy. Others will be open to delegates on a first-come basis, with details available in the official HETT app.
This isn’t just a space for conversation, it’s a space for shaping what comes next. We know that many of the most impactful projects, partnerships, and pilots begin with honest, off-the-record discussions like these.
Why It Matters
The Roundtable Area adds something vital to HETT’s growing ecosystem of knowledge-sharing and community building. It reflects a recognition that not all conversations need to be public to be powerful and that the road to transformation often starts with listening, trust, and shared understanding.
For delegates, this is a chance to not just hear what’s happening in the sector, but to help influence it.
